“I know what the job of being a state senator is, I work with these people on a daily basis. Affordable housing will require state action in some way, Beacon Hill doesn’t understand the Cape. They see the Cape as a beautiful place for a weekend,” Cyr said. “They don’t see the other Cape, people on assistance, cobbling together two jobs. I think having a deep understanding of policy and community I would get a lot done as senator.”
